Fill Inn Station Closing information
Letter from Linda
Dear friends and loyal customers:
With both gratitude and a touch of sadness, we announce that after 46 wonderful years, The Fill Inn Station will be closing its doors on March 25th, 2025. I have worked here since I was 17 years old and as much as I love this place, I am certainly looking forward to a new adventure and retirement.
I have Dick and Carol Horstman (and family) to thank for bringing this place to Chippewa Falls and hiring me on all those years ago. I certainly didn't think I would be retiring from here when I walked in the door for my first shift as a Dishwasher.
It's hard to believe the things that I have celebrated (and mourned) inside these walls. All the laughs, tears and sheer fun with so many special people that I would never know outside the Fill Inn. I am so thankful for all the vendors, suppliers, and community partners that have helped me out in so many ways, it truly takes a village. I can say that I have THE best staff a person could ask for and customers that are beyond compare. While I am very much looking forward to the next chapter, it is all you wonderful people I will miss the most. It has been my honor to serve you.
As I move out, something new will be moving in that will continue to bring people together. The Fill Inn will soon be transformed into a place of worship and fellowship, serving the community in a new and meaningful way as it becomes a church. While the setting may change, the fellowship will continue, just without the beer.
We invite you to join us for one final farewell celebration on March 15th, 2025 (more details to come) This will be the last day the Fill Inn will be open to the public as a bar and restaurant. Stay tuned to our Facebook page and website for event details and operation updates. As the Fill Inn will not continue in its current form, I will be attempting to eliminate and reduce stock so as the last day draws near, we may run out of some items.
ALL gift cards, donations and coupons must be redeemed before the close of business March 15th. If you have a Pizza for a Year coupon, you are welcome to use any remaining punches you have before we close.
